What this is
A Kundli is a map of the sky at the moment and place you were born. It records which sign was rising in the east — the lagna — and where each of the nine grahas stood along the zodiac. Everything else in Vedic astrology is read from that one snapshot, which is why the birth time matters: the lagna moves through a whole sign roughly every two hours.
This page draws the chart as a North Indian diagram, with the lagna in the top-left house and the signs running anticlockwise. For each graha it gives the sign, the exact degree, the nakshatra and pada it falls in, whether it is retrograde, and which house it occupies. Positions are sidereal, computed from the Swiss Ephemeris with the Lahiri ayanamsa and whole-sign houses, and the page shows the numbers it used.
Common questions
-
What if I do not know my exact birth time? Show the answer
You can still get a chart. The grahas barely move along the zodiac in a few hours, so the signs and nakshatras stay right. What shifts is the lagna, and with it the houses. Mark the time as approximate and read the graha positions rather than the house placements.
-
Why does this chart differ from one I already have? Show the answer
Almost always the ayanamsa. This site uses Lahiri, the Indian government standard and the one most Indian software uses. Software set to Raman or Krishnamurti will place a graha in a different sign when it sits near a boundary. The house system matters too: this site uses whole-sign houses, where a house and a sign are the same thing.

Is anything held back or paid for? Show the answer
No. The full chart, every graha position, the dasha timeline and the PDF are free, and there is no account to create. Nothing on the page is a sample of something else.
